Initial studies have been completed on identifying the key infrastructure requirements (i.e., access routes, mill sites, waste and tailings disposal sites, pipelines, port facilities, power requirements, office and housing, and water requirements) and potential sources (i.e., power and water).
A key infrastructure issue is the location of a concentrate filtering and ship loading facility as this is likely to dictate pipeline and power transmiision line accesss and corridor route. During the course of the study process, alternative waste and tailings management options will be evaluated to ensure a sustainable method is selected.
