The resource estimates at Tampakan have been performed by Dr Phillip Hellman of Hellman and Schofield Pty Ltd. Dr Hellman qualifies as a Competent Person under the meaning of the 2004 JORC Code.

The Mineral Resource has not been re-estimated since September 2009, but is reported inside a shell generated by applying forecast metal prices for copper. A 4% increase in global tonnes and a 2% increase in copper metal compared to the 2009 report is due entirely to increased metal price assumptions used to generate the reporting shell. Mineral Resources are reported above a 0.3% copper cut-off and are shown on 100% ownership basis. Numbers in the above table are rounded, generally to two significant figures with tonnes and grades for inferred resources and grades in the total column rounded to one significant figure and the contained metal numbers rounded to the nearest 100,000. Mineral Resource estimates have only been reported if estimated blocks lie within a conceptual open pit which has been generated using Whittle software with pit slopes of 24-42 degrees and preliminary costs and metallurgical recoveries. This is due to the high topographic relief and the possibility of producing estimates at depths that have little possibility of conversion to Ore Reserves. Blocks categorised as `potential mineralisation` have not been used to define this pit base. Competent Person: Dr Phillip Hellman.
